AMOS 2025

We’re excited to announce that AMOS 2025 will be held at the Cairns Convention Centre from June 23 to 27, 2025.

Cairns, located near the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest, offers a perfect backdrop for our conference. The region’s tropical climate, diverse ecosystems, and dynamic coastal processes will enhance our discussions on weather, oceans and climate science.

The unique setting of Cairns provides an excellent opportunity to showcase practical applications for conservation, adaptation, and sustainable management, making it an ideal location for AMOS 2025. Additionally, we will be highlighting the deep connection of First Nations peoples to this country, which offers invaluable insights into sustainable management and conservation practices and enriches our understanding of these principles.

Mark your calendars and get ready for an enriching and impactful experience in Cairns. We’ll provide more details on the program, registration, and accommodation options soon. Plus, we’re planning some exciting pre- and post-conference field trips, including a day on the Outer Barrier Reef and a visit to the Daintree Rainforest.
