Regional Centres

AMOS Regional Centres operate in each state and territory of Australia. They are run by committees of local members and support the objectives of AMOS by:

• Raising awareness of the weather, ocean and climate sciences through public seminars, forums and special events
• Providing networking and professional development opportunities to the local AMOS community
• Encouraging local students in the AMOS sciences through dedicated student events and the awarding of the Regional Award for Academic Achievement
